Local SEO is not a mystery and it is not magic. It is a handful of things done consistently: a site Google can read, a Business Profile that is complete and active, reviews that keep coming in, and pages that answer the questions people actually type. We do those things every month and show you the numbers.
What we work on
- Google Business Profile. For a local business this usually drives more calls than the website does. Categories, services, service areas, photos, hours, Q&A, and regular posts — kept current, not set up once and abandoned.
- The map pack. Ranking in the three-result map block is a different game from ranking in the blue links, and it rewards proximity, prominence, and relevance. We work all three.
- Reviews. Volume, recency, and replies all count. We set up a system for asking that does not feel like begging, and we answer the reviews you get, including the bad one.
- On-page work. Titles, headings, service pages, and location pages that target what people search rather than what the industry calls itself.
- Technical health. Speed, mobile usability, crawl errors, structured data, and the Core Web Vitals Google measures on real visitors.
- Citations and consistency. Your name, phone number, and service area matching everywhere they appear. Inconsistency here quietly holds businesses back.
- Reporting you can read. Monthly, in plain English: what moved, what did not, what we are doing next. No 40-page PDF of graphs nobody opens.
What SEO cannot do
Worth saying plainly, because plenty of agencies will not. SEO is slow — meaningful movement usually takes three to six months, and anyone promising page one in thirty days is either buying ads or lying. It cannot fix a business with no reviews and a disconnected phone number. And nobody can guarantee a ranking, because nobody controls Google. What we can promise is the work, done every month, with the numbers shown to you honestly.
Search is changing, and that is fine
A growing share of searches now get answered by AI — Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity — instead of a list of links. The good news is that the work is largely the same work: clear structure, honest content that answers real questions, and machine-readable markup describing who you are and what you do. We build every site with that markup in place and keep an llms.txt file so AI assistants can describe the business correctly rather than guessing.
How it is priced
SEO is bundled into the Growth plan at $599 a month, which also includes everything in Foundation — the site itself, hosting, and edits. There is no separate SEO retainer and no setup fee. If you want video in the mix as well, the Presence plan at $1,250 adds drone and commercial production.
